South Metro Housing Options (SMHO) will open two waitlists in April:

• The one-bedroom waitlist for Sierra Vista Apartments, located at 8851 E. Florida Avenue, Denver, CO 80247, will be open from April 14 at 8 am – April 27 at 5 pm.

• The waitlist for the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program will open for one day only, April 19, from 8 am – 8 pm, or until the threshold is met.

All pre-applications will be accepted online only at https://onlineportal.smho.co. Please note that a valid email address is required. Placement on the waitlist is based on the date and time of application.

If you need access to a computer/internet, your local library, including Bemis Public Library, provides free service in which to complete an online application. If you need an email address, there are many free services to create one, including Google.

Please note:

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to apply
• A valid email address is required
• Enter only one application per family — or the applications will be rejected
• Applications cannot be accepted after the list is closed

After a pre-application is submitted, applicants can check their status online anytime and update their information as needed. Applicants MUST maintain current contact information at all times.
