Joanna Crosby – Resident Services Director

Joanna will be leading Resident Services and expanding the department to include more services, such as service-enriched programs for residents and SMHO’s newly formed 501c3 charitable arm. She has a background in social work and community development both in the United States and abroad. She has seen the impact housing can have on individuals, families and the community, and joins our team in hopes of being able to have a positive impact.

Anne Dennis-Tapia – Property Manager at Alyson Court

Anne recently moved to Colorado from Connecticut to be closer to family. She has a background in social work and is fluent in Spanish and English. When asked why she chose to work for SMHO, she replied, “For me, providing safe, decent, affordable housing to people is important. It gives me a purpose beyond my family.”

Cheryl West – Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Specialist

Cheryl joined the Housing Department taking over Desiree’s caseload. She spent the last five years working with the Denver Housing Authority as a Certification Specialist, and brings a great deal of knowledge with her. Prior to that she has six years of property management under her belt, over a year as an assistant property manager and spent 2 years with the City of Loveland Housing Authority as a Housing Coordinator, specializing in Tax Credit properties.

Ron Greene – Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Specialist

Ron is drawn to affordable housing and being of service to those who are less fortunate and feels good that he is part of a system that assists people in finding the security of having a pleasant home in which to live.
