SMHO Awarded Revitalization Incentive Grant Funds
Our downtown Littleton office is about to get a much-needed facelift, thanks to the Littleton Revitalization Incentive Grant (RIG). SMHO was awarded $8,000 of RIG funds recently that will be used to repair and paint the exterior of our main office on Rapp Street, which will happen this summer.
“The color will be a rustic peach and will update the building and complement the existing brick and window frames. It will also give the building a certain Colorado feel,” said Gregg Barker, SMHO Asset Manager.
“This project will completely change the curb appeal of the building and will give it an up-to-date look,” he shared. “It will also enhance Rapp Street, which is only two blocks from downtown Littleton.”
The goal of the RIG program is to encourage private investment in improvements to business storefronts in a way that makes revitalization efforts affordable, creative, and improves the aesthetic of the entire community. Overall, this effort is meant to improve the quality and attractiveness of the built environment in Littleton.
