Painting a Difference in Littleton: Artist Jason T. Graves
Our newest development, Overlook at Powers Park, lights up with vibrant colors and original murals, inside and out, thanks to Colorado artist, Jason T. Graves. The property features a large 30’x30’ full-color outdoor mural that faces Powers Park. The inside has four full-wall murals and one two-piece canvas mural that is a personal highlight for the artist.
Jason spent the better part of three months hand-painting the artwork at Overlook, spending almost a month and a half working on the outdoor mural. “I received a lot of positive encouragement and feedback from many local residents as I was working on the outdoor mural,” Jason shared.
The two-piece canvas mural on the second floor was the last piece of artwork Jason created for the building. “I believe this is one of the best floral paintings that I have ever done,” he said. “I spent over 90+ hours in a total of seven days working on this piece.”
You can find Jason’s artwork in other places around the city too. “My [other] most recent painting in Littleton was an indoor mural for Powell Middle School,” he said.
Jason is painting a difference throughout our state, one artwork at a time. “My hope is for people to have a positive experience and find their own personal meaning and connection to my work,” Jason concluded.
Jason is known for his strong work ethic and consistent creative abilities. His desire to inspire and encourage others through his artistic talents speaks to his friendly, gentle nature and unselfish outlook on life. As a multifaceted artist, Jason is always finding ways to be creatively active and contribute to the cultural landscape that surrounds him.
