The waitlist for South Metro Housing Options newest property, Overlook at Powers Park, located at 5599 S. Elati Street in Littleton, is scheduled to open Monday, October 2 at 8 a.m. Applications must be completed online at smho.co/overlook. Placement on the waitlist is based on the date and time of the application. A valid email address is required to apply.

Overlook at Powers Park is a brand-new property offering affordable one-bedroom apartment homes serving adults age 62 and over. The energy-efficient apartments feature in-unit laundry, a walk-in shower, large windows, and personalized temperature control with A/C. The property has two floors with secure entrances, elevators, covered parking, indoor and outdoor recreation areas, and is located next to Powers Park with views of the park and easy access.

The units are affordable as part of the Low Income Housing Tax Credit Program. Housing Choice Vouchers are also accepted.

Requirements:

• Age 62 and over
• Income that is 1.5x rent amount
• A valid email address

If you do not have access to a computer, you can complete your application by visiting Bemis Public Library. Get their address and hours at bemis.marmot.org. You may also visit other public libraries in your area. If you need an email address, many free services are available to create one, including Google.
