Meet our Newest Partner: Colorado Spirit by AllHealth Network
We are thrilled to have recently created a formal partnership with Colorado Spirit by AllHealth Network to provide an additional supportive resource for our residents — at no cost to them.
The Colorado Spirit Program is devised of trained and caring counselors who provide free support and guidance around coping with emotional challenges, such as grief, sadness, loss, uncertainty, and more. They do this through individual support, group support, education sessions, community networking, and connecting people to resources that meet their particular needs. They can be a listening ear, a connection to resources, or a coach on coping skills.
Caring counselors visited our properties in February to start the process of getting to know our residents and give them an opportunity to identify topics they would like to learn more about. Colorado Spirit counselors will be on-site more often, and will be hosting Wellness Cafes regularly for Bradley House, Alyson Court, and Amity Plaza. These group sessions will take a closer look at some of life’s emotional challenges, and provide tips and advice on how to navigate those situations more successfully.
“We aim to relieve some of the stresses people are going through,” said Javier Acosta, with CO Spirit.
This program is all about wellness… designed to give our residents the tools they need to get there and stay there. Counselors create a safe space to share, listen, and learn comfortably. Talking about emotional wellness is not easy for everyone, but it is an important step towards good health and happiness. And as with most things, the more you do it, the better it gets.
We look forward to working with the Colorado Spirit team, and are thankful for the expertise and support they will provide our residents.
