South Metro Housing Options (SMHO) is excited to announce that Montview Flats, our newest affordable housing community, is now open and accepting applications. Completed in late June 2026, this 50-unit community provides quality, affordable housing for individuals and families earning between 30% and 70% of the Area Median Income (AMI).

Located at 5848 S. Rapp Street, Littleton, CO 80120 the new building features 37 one-bedroom apartments and 13 two-bedroom apartments. Each unit is equipped with a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and an in-unit washer and dryer. Residents can also enjoy beautiful mountain views and a variety of on-site amenities, including multiple office and workspace areas, a spacious community room, a fitness center, and an outdoor patio with a children’s play area.

Conveniently located just blocks from downtown Littleton, Montview Flats offers easy access to local shops and restaurants, Regional Transportation District (RTD) light rail and bus service, and Arapahoe Community College, making it an ideal place to live, work, and connect with the community.

How to Apply

Montview Flats is an income-restricted community, but rent is not based on income. Applicants should be aware of the following requirements:

· Household income must be at least 1.5 times the monthly rent.

· A security deposit equal to one month’s rent is required.

· A $30 application fee is required for each household member age 18 or older.

· Housing Choice Vouchers are welcome.

· A valid email address is required to complete the application.
