The Board of Directors for South Metro Housing Options (SHMO) unanimously approved Resolution 23-04 formally opposing Ballot Question 300, which will be voted on by the public during the special election on March 7. The citizen-initiated ballot question aims to reduce the number of signatures required for citizen initiatives and referendums. The Board believes that the proposed amendment of the City Charter would, if passed, interfere with the mission of South Metro Housing Options to provide affordable housing to the residents of the City of Littleton.
