We are thrilled to welcome two new members to the SMHO Board of Commissioners, Kate Peterson and Lauren Acres. Get to know a little about them below. Kate Peterson, New Commissioner
Kate joined the Board of Commissioners in April 2021. She brings an extensive background in communications and real estate, with an emphasis on community development and affordable housing. She has worked with Mercy Housing since 2006 and currently serves as Senior Vice President of Communications and Public Policy. Kate is excited to give back where she lives. She and her family have called Littleton home for the past four years.

Lauren Acres, New Commissioner
Lauren joined the Board of Commissioners in April 2021. She grew up in Littleton and spent years during and after college living abroad. She moved back to Littleton because of the collective and close-knit community and is excited to be raising her young son here. As a Marketing Manager for GE Johnson Construction, she brings her construction and engineering background to the board, as well as a passion for making Littleton a more accessible community for all.
